Crane chains should be selected based on the environment and material conditions. In normal environments, standard alloy steel chains are sufficient (such as those made of 20Mn2 material). In humid or corrosive environments, stainless steel or galvanized chains should be used. In high-temperature environments, heat-resistant alloy steel chains are necessary. It should be noted that the rated load capacity of chains decreases when the temperature exceeds 200°C.
